Microsoft Sway App Reviews

I saw the preview them was actually excited about trying this out. As much as it seems like it should be intuitive it is not. Im actually looking through the directions and its telling me to tap the play icon or tap the pencil icon in the upper right there are no icons that resemble this and I cant seem to find any. Its like the instructions are written for a previous version that has been changed. Some of the fancier templates are god awful. You cant even read the text on the distracting backgrounds. This seems only half baked so far

I downloaded the app hoping to be creative. Unfortunately my creativity was stopped. App does not work at all. Waste of my hope and time.

Excited to download and give a try. Keeps crashing when trying to upload a photo on my iPhone 6 Will try app again, next version......

I was very excited to try this new app. Didnt get very far as the app kept crashing each time I attempted to upload a picture. Plus where is this "play" button that is supposed to be in the upper right hand corner? Someone clearly didnt test this app before going live.. Appreciate the app...waiting on the fix.

This app needs work, lots of work. Cant even upload picture to test how creative this app could be. Would rate with zero stars but cant post this without at lease choosing one star.

App is very very slow...doesnt offer much options or creative options to showcase your work. Im gonna switch back to Pinterest.

Yuk. I posted my first one to Facebook. Looks okay…a bit more layout than could be done before. BUT THERE WAS AN AD ON THE BOTTON OF THE POST. So I’ve trashed it.

iPad vers. came out so decided to try it. The prefab design options remind me of 10 year old scrap booking papers available at craft stores. Seriously... Its comical..Did they just scan those? SO distracting and horrendous for backgrounds! No PDF options, no moveable content option, (comments in their suggestion area state otherwise, but good luck finding it) Even simple diary Apps like Chronicle have the above flexible options! Come on Microsoft... if you want to play design with the big dogs, get some BIG DOGS to design for you! Only reason Ill keep it is for URL shareable options and their promised upcoming "comparison" gallery option, which for me, could be a useful tool.

Is it supposed to work? Its almost as if MS tried exceptionally hard to make a crappy app.

Great app just wish they would update with more customization options.

Sway seems like a good idea for mobile use to make presentations. It worked well when trying the sample files... Then it froze every time (10/10) when starting to edit a newly created Sway. This app is junk on my iPhone 6+ with iOS 9.2

The app works great on my iphone. Its very intuitive and I enjoy using it.

This app is awesome. I do wish I could download the presentations instead of them being hosted in the sway environment, but it really is a cinch to use. I love it.

Ive been using this now as a platform independent version of PowerPoint. It is wonderful for sharing information on the phone.
